Singapore Airlines Reports Data Breach Affecting 46,000 Booking Records

Singapore Airlines has reported that approximately 46,000 flight booking records were accessed by unauthorised parties following a cyberattack.

According to reports by Bloomberg and The Straits Times, the compromised data included passengers’ names, booking reference numbers and flight itineraries. The airline stated that payment card and bank account information were not affected by the breach.

The data breach was reportedly linked to Amadeus systems used by airlines for flight reservations.
